I'm back with a new post. The last two posts I did were more on things I "love", so now I'm doing about things I hate. Ok so here's the list of things I hate...
1. CLOWNS/MASCOTS
I do not HATE them, I am AFRAID of these creatures or whatever you might call them. Funny coz I remember I wasn't afraid of them when Susy & Geno used to go to our school. I can't remember when exactly I became afraid of them, but yes I am afraid of these things that kids love. I remember when I went to HK Disney, I had to constantly remind myself that I have to have "proof" that I went to Disneyland just so I could muster the courage to take my picture with Mickey. I don't know, but I feel like they're going to take off their head any minute and put it on me until I can't breathe anymore.
P.S. I am actually covering the screen while typing...

Clothes I want to wear...
Ok so on with my other lists.
I'm a girl, so one would think I would be very interested in fashion. However, the nearest I can get myself to be fashionable is when I watch fashion shows on TV, read fashion magazines and blogs. I hate the fact that models are so THIN. Making me wish I had my High School body back.
Ok here are the clothes I want to wear once in my life...

[Lists] Places I want to Visit
[Lists] Things I want to do...
Since I have given up on my 30 x 30 project (super fail), I decided to write about something else... I usually read about people making lists about what they want to do in life, so I thought I should do a couple of lists for myself too.
I'm going to write about each item in detail in the following days or when I don't feel lazy.

[Writings] Thank you for saying goodbye
Who would have thought that loving a person would mean giving that person the right to hurt you?
It had been months now since that incident happened. The incident that made me realize that loving would mean getting hurt. That incident that made me comprehend what the real meaning of trust really was.
[Writings] Itsuka Chapter 5
Title: Itsuka
Rating: PG-13
Member/Pairing: Nino/ OC
Author: riya aka maemae
A/N: After such a long time… I finally found the urge to write…
I literally had to drag myself to the meeting the following day after spending almost the entire night trying to fix “the guitar”. I was silently praying that I don’t have to face that brat today for my energy is almost depleted.
I sat at the far end corner of the conference room, rested my head on the wall and closed my eyes.
A few minutes of shut-eye before the meeting is all I need. I thought as my being was lulled to sleep by the soft whirring of the air conditioner.

[Writings] - Love of a Lifetime
I sat under a large tree in the park watching two lovely children play. As I watch the kids chase each other across the wide grassy area, a vivid picture of myself flashed in my mid.
I was standing in front of the back entrance of Tokyo Dome as throngs of fangirls shoved each other trying to get the best spot. I walked slowly towards where they are hoping to get at least a glimpse of him. This was my last chance to see him. My mom’s shipping me next month to live with my grandparents and only God knows when I would be able to see civilization when that happens.

[VIDEO] Performance-Tomadoinagara
Been playing with my iMovie and this is what I've accomplished. I know it's not as good as the others, but I tried...
The resolution's not that good. Plus, I apologize to the original uploader of the video as I forgot where I got it. If you think this is yours, please inform me so I may credit you. Thanks

[Writings] Tell me how you lost me - EPILOGUE
Epilogue
Satoshi’s POV
I sat on the grass watching Shin chase the puppy across the park while the cherry blossoms fell. It’s been nearly two years since that incident. For most of those times, Shin became distant. He never talked much. The only person he would talk to was Nino. I’d usually see him seated in front of the gate as if waiting for something or some one to arrive. At night I would hear him cry.
Those times were the most exhausting times of my life. But I guess it was all worth it. I knew I wasn’t doing it for myself. It’s only been 6 months since Shin started talking again and he was progressing really fast, or shall I say the change was instantaneous. His laughter has filled the house once more. He started painting too. Mostly faces.
I continued to watch him as he sat under the cherry blossom tree holding out his hand as the petals began to fall. Dejavu? No. It was something new. A new memory.

PRESENT DAY….
Satoshi’s POV
“You know what? If you had done that to me… You wouldn’t be alive right now.” Jaja commented as I finished narrating.
I did not say anything I just stared at Riya as she stroked Shinichi’s hair while he slept on her lap.
“I could not believe you actually did that. To think I had a different image of you.” Jaja added.
“I know what I did was wrong…” I began.
“Wrong? It’s more than wrong. It’s absurd. Horrible. Mortifying. Abominable. Atrocious. Dreadful. Pathetic. God , I could add more but I’m running out of words.” Jaja shrieked.
“Riya…” I called out to her. She wasn’t looking at me. She continued to brush Shin’s hair with her fingers.
“Riya…” I called again. She looked up. Her eyes met mine. There was something in her eyes.
“What?”
“Say something.”
“What do you want me to say?” She asked.
“Say you’re not leaving us again. Say you’re staying.” I replied.

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 29
I felt my entire being shatter at those words. I slowly got up and walked towards the door. I stopped for an instant, listened to the moans that was excruciating to hear one last time before finally closing the door behind me.
I was wandering the streets of Tokyo aimlessly pondering on what just happened when my phone began to ring.
“Riya? Doko desu ka?” Kazu’s okaasan asked from the other end of the line.
“On my way home.” I lied.
“Sou ka? Hurry. We’re having nabe for dinner. Kazu’s early today, he’s already playing with Shinichi.”
“ Ok. I’m on my way.”
I had no idea how I got home, but I know I had to put on a happy face despite everything that I had seen.
Dinner was great as usual. Kazu’s okaasan was telling everybody the different “tricks” Shinichi’s been able to do. I tried to fake a smile and acted interested, but deep inside my mind was pre-occupied with the events earlier.
“Riya… daijobou?” Kazu asked as he handed me a cup of coffee while we headed towards the terrace.
“Huh? Nande?”
“You seemed to be pre-occupied since dinner, no since you got home. Usually when kaa-chan tells us something about Shinichi, you’d be really interested.” He replied.
“I was interested.”
“No you weren’t. You were just smiling and nodding like an idiot.”
I fell silent.
“What’s wrong? What happened?” He asked.
I looked at him straight in the eye. Tears were now welling up.
“Riya doushita no?”
“Kazu…” I began but could not bring myself to finish the sentence. I just hugged him real tight.
“Riya... mou iyo… tell me what’s wrong…”
“I…I…”
“Daijobou… if you don’t want to talk about it… you don’t have to…”
“Kazu…” I began as I let go.
“Hmm...?”
“I… saw him…” I said looking Nino in the eye.
“Where?” he knew who I was talking about.
“In… in the apartment… I’m sorry… I’ve been going there ever since… I was hoping I’d find him back home…”
“And…”
“I did find him…”
“And… what did he do to you?” his face now masked with intense anger.
“I… I… I…” the words would not come out of my mouth.
“ What Riya? What did he do to you?”
“He… he did not do anything to me.”
“Then what happened?”
“He was… he was…”
“He was what? What was he doing?”
“Kazu… everything meant nothing to him…” I said before breaking down.
“What do you mean?”
“I meant nothing to him… We meant nothing to him…”
“Riya… what are you talking about…”
“Kazu... he was there… with a girl… they were…” I could not get to finish my sentence.
“What girl? What were they doing?”
“Ma..ri…ko… they were in our room, on our bed…”
“That bastard!! I’m really gonna kill him this time.”
“Kazu… no…” I stopped him before he could reach the door. Who knows what he was going to do had I not stopped him.
“Riya let me go. That idiot needs a serious whack.”
“No Kazu… don’t…”
“Riya… do you understand what is going on? If I don’t put some sense into his head, you’ll forever be waiting for nothing…”
“You’ll just hurt him…”
“What do you want me to do then? Praise him? Put him on a pedestal? Riya wake up… you have to fight for what is legally yours.”
“Kazu… I’ve thought this over before coming home tonight…”
“What?”
“I think I need some time away… on my own… to sort things out… Just a week…”
“What are you saying?”
“ I’m going to Yokohama… to Ai-chan… just for a week… I’m not taking Shinichi with me… I need this for myself… plus I’m sure your kaa-chan’s not gonna agree that I take Shinichi with me… Just for a week Kazu…”
“Riya…”
“I so broken right now… I need to pick up the broken pieces of my self before I can fight whatever it is I need to fight for… right?”
“Riya…”
“I promise I’ll be back next week…”
Nino nodded in resignation.
“Promise you’ll be back after a week? I still have Ai’s number, I’ll call every now and then.”
“Thanks… can I ask you one thing?”
“What?”
“ Promise me you’ll not bring this up with him. Act as if you don’t know. Don’t tell the other guys either.”
“Why?”
“Just promise me Kazu… please… I’m begging you…”
“Ok… I promise… but it’ll be hard… but I’ll try…”
“Arigatou.”
“When are you leaving?”
“Early tomorrow morning.”
“You want me to bring you to the airport?”
“No need. I know you have an early schedule tomorrow. I’ll be fine…”
“Riya…” he called out before I entered my room
“Hmm?”
“When you come back everything’s going to be all right. Someday that idiot is going to realize what an ass he has been for hurting you… I’ll make sure of that…”
I smiled.
“Kazu…”
“Yes?”
“Someday never really comes, does it?” I asked but did not wait for him to answer as I closed the door.
As I stood beside the bed watching my son sleep I could not help the tears from falling. I sat on the bed and began to stroke his hair.
“Ichi… gomen ne… Mama’s leaving you for a while… I’ll be back soon… When I come back I promise we’ll go and see Papa…”
I bent over and kissed my son as I whispered… “ I love you Ichi… I love you so much….”
With that, I stood up and headed towards the door without looking back.
All through out the ride to the airport, tears were falling non-stop.
I was queuing to get my ticket when I heard a commotion. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a familiar profile.
I walked towards the group of people, media I suppose basing from their cameras. I squeezed in a bit to see what was going.
At that moment I wished I had not been curious but it was too late.
There he was right in front of me, his arm wrapped around her waist as she was smiling proudly. The look on his face changed when our eyes met, when he opened his mouth, the words that came out seemed like daggers slowly piercing my heart.
“Mariko and I are going out… well you can say that we’re an item… and this is not just for the drama… I mean... it’s real… I’ve never loved someone like I love her now…” he said with conviction, not taking his eyes off me…
I took one last look at him as he kissed her, cameras began to flash everywhere, I took a step back, turned around and walked. Not knowing where I was headed.
Before I knew it I was on the plane silently crying the pain I was feeling. I do not even remember where I was headed until the flight attendant announced.
“The fasten seat belt sign is on… Please fasten your seatbelts now as we approach our final descent towards Ninoy Aquino International Airport.”
I was wandering the streets of Tokyo aimlessly pondering on what just happened when my phone began to ring.

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 28
Riya’s POV
I looked at each of the guys faces as Jun was explaining why it was so important that I stay at Nino’s house. I scanned the room hoping to see one more familiar face.
“He’s not coming.” A small voice from behind said.
“I know that…” I replied as I faced him.
“Riya… I know deep inside you want him to be here but I doubt that it’s ever gonna happen. For now, why don’t you just focus on Shinichi.”
“Kazu…”
“Nino’s right Riya, we’re here if you need us. There’s nothing to worry about.” Jun added.
“Does he know?” I asked.
The four guys looked at each other before Sho answered.
“He was here just a few hours ago.”
“He was?!”
“Before you get too excited about it, he did not want to be here. Jun just dragged him to come.” Nino said.
“Kazu… don’t.” Sho said trying to stop him from saying more.
“She has to know Sho-kun. She has to know what an ass he has been. Yes, he was here but not after Jun tricked him into coming. He did not even want to see his own son. He was more concerned about his fishing trip than seeing his son and asking about how his wife is. Now tell me Riya , do you still want him here.?”
“ Yes...” I replied silently.
Nino sighed in frustration. I guess he just gave up to the fact that I would still want Satoshi to be here with me.
The awkward silence was broken when the nurse entered the room carrying Shinichi.
“Uwaaahhh… He’s here… Riya-chan… Shinichi’s here…” Aiba- shrieked excitedly.
“Masaki! Stop shouting. You’ll wake him up.”
As the nurse handed me little bundle wrapped in sheets, mixed emotions started to fill in. There was pain, anger, pity, happiness. The pain was more on the physical side. The anger I was feeling was directed at my self. I was angry because I had not done much to avoid what has happened. Pity was for my son. Not being able to give him the family that he deserves, not being to feel the love a father should be giving him, not being able to feel his dad’s warmth. But despite all of those, my happiness was profound. I was happy that there were these four guys sharing this special moment with me and my son. Four people trying to compensate what could been given by just one. I was moved by their concern, more so the fact that they were risking too much just by being here.
“Minna… arigatou…”
“Riya-chan… daijobou. As I’ve said there’s nothing to worry.” Jun replied.
“What’s important right now is that you and Shinichi are taken cared of.” Sho added.
“My mom and my sister are so excited to have you. It’s been a while since we had a baby in the house.” Nino said as he sat beside me.
“Are you sure?” I asked.
“Of course. They’ve already fixed the guest room. My mom even bought Shinichi his first rattle. Actually RATTLES… She could not choose which one to buy so she bought them all.” Nino said smiling.
“But…”
“No more buts Riya.”
“Yosh! Enough drama. Time to have a photoshoot. Of course everybody gets to hold Shinichi right? Ne Riya?” Aiba said as he handed Jun the camera.
“Hey, why do I get to hold the camera? I want to have my picture taken with Shinichi.” Jun complained.
“You’re the camera expert.” Aiba replied as he positioned himself on my left side.
“Wait… let’s take a picture of Shinichi and his mom first. Just the two of them.” Sho suggested.
Nino and Aiba got off the bed as Jun positioned himself ready to take our picture.
I held my son close as I tried to smile while Jun took our picture.
I smiled as I watched the four guys make a fuss about my son while taking turns having their picture taken. I take it back. I should not pity my son. He has these four wonderful guys as fathers.
“What are you smiling at?” Nino asked as he sat beside me while we watch Aiba and Sho take turns having their picture taken with Shinichi.
“Betsuni. I’m just happy.”
“About what?”
“I realized how lucky my son is to have you guys as his surrogate dads.
“Of course he’s lucky.”
“ Ne, ne Riya, can Shin- chan call me Daddy?” Aiba excitedly asked.
“ Eh?!”
“Well… since Ohno-kun does not want him, maybe he can call the four of us Daddy.” He replied.
I smiled weakly and nodded.
“I don’t want to be called Daddy, I want him to call me Otousan.” Sho remarked.
“ What about me?” Jun asked.
“He can call you Jun-sama” Aiba replied.
“Baka! Riya can he call me Dada?” Jun asked.
“It sounds like daddy. And I’m his daddy already. He’s going to be confused.” Aiba commented.
“Urusai. Shinichi’s going to call me Dada! It’s easier to remember than daddy.”
“ I want him to call me Papa.” Nino said softly.
“Anou… Kazu… can he call you Chichi instead?” I asked.
“Nande?” He returned the question.
“I want him to call Satoshi papa…”
“Demo…” Nino began.
“Of course, he’s going to call Satoshi papa. He can call Nino chichi.” Sho butt in before Nino could finish his protest.
“Fine. I’ll be his Chichi.” Nino said in resignation.
“Ichi… meet Masaki daddy, Sho otousan, Jun dada and Kazunari chichi.” I said as I introduced my son to his four “fathers”.
“Ichi?” Jun asked wondering.
“I’m going to call him Ichi. He is after all my first.” I replied smiling.
“Sou ka?”
I nodded as I watched my son peacefully sleeping in my arms.
Life for me and my son at the Ninomiya household is nothing but pure bliss. Kazu’s okaasan has appointed herself as the official Nana of Shinichi. I was able to get back to work without worrying about my son. Every month the guys would prepare a mini party to celebrate Shinichi’s birthday. Everything was perfect. Except for one. Satoshi.
Unknown to the guys, for the past few months, I had been secretly going back to our apartment in the hope of finding Satoshi, waiting. Maybe I expected too much.
Everything was dark when I entered the apartment. I walked slowly towards the bedroom while running my fingers on the wall. I was about to turn the knob of the bedroom door when I heard a familiar voice.
“Don’t…”
There’s no denying it. It is him. He’s back. He came home. I excitedly opened the door and just as quickly as my heart began to throb at the thought of him waiting for me, it stopped at what I saw. I froze. I gripped the knob tighter, my eyes not averting from the scene unfolding right in front of me. I could feel the hot tears coursing down my cheeks. I wanted to scream but no words are coming out of my mouth. My heart felt as if it was going to explode.
I watched in disgust as she straddled him naked. Their bodies gyrating in unison. She stopped for a moment when she realized I was watching them.
“… don’t… stop…” he pleaded.
“But…” she began to reason.
“Don’t mind her… go on…” he said as our eyes met.
His stare was cold.
“Gomenasai…” I softly said as I slowly closed the door.
My mind tried to comprehend what just happened. I wanted make myself believe that it was just a nightmare, but hearing their moans become louder and louder confirmed that is was in fact real.
I was sitting on the sofa still trying to make up alibis for what was happening when the bedroom door opened.
He was half naked as he walked towards me. He sat beside me silently as if waiting for me to rant on him. No words were coming from me except for the occasional sniffs.
“It’s your fault you know… you should have knocked.” He finally broke the silence.
“Gomenasai…” I replied softly.
“What are you doing here anyway? Aren’t you living with Nino now?” He asked as he lit a cigarette.
“ I… I… was…” I stammered.
Before I could even finish my answer, the bedroom door opened. She stood by the door draped only in sheets.
“Satoshi… what’s taking you so long? I thought you told her to leave… come back inside… we’re not done yet…”
“I was just about to get back in…” he replied as he stood up.
“ Go. There’s nothing for you here anymore. Lock the door when you leave.” He said as he walked back towards the bedroom.
“ Oh and by the way… before you’re rather embarrassing surprise appearance, I was just telling Mariko that she was the best one I’ve ever had... you’re nothing compared to her… nothing…” he said as he closed the bedroom room behind him.

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 27
NINO’s POV
I was frozen in place and painful memories seem to flood my mind as I heard Riya’s faint call.
“Kazu… Riya… Hayaku…” Jun’s frantic voice echoed which brought me back to my senses.
Jun and I rushed towards the main door only to find Riya slumped on the floor trembling, both arms wrapped around her tummy. My eyes were fixated on the crimson colored liquid coursing down her legs.
“Jun get a cab.” I ordered as I hurried over to Riya and carried her with all my might.
“Get us to the nearest hospital and step on it.” I half screamed at the driver as we got inside the cab.
We arrived in the hospital in a record breaking time of 5 minutes. I immediately got out of the cab and started screaming my lungs out.
“Stretcher!!!! I need a stretcher!! Get me a doctor!!! Now!!!” It felt just like before. But this time I wasn’t frozen in the corner watching the drama. I was actually doing something.
“What are you still standing there for? Help me with this.” I screamed at the nurses and doctors who were watching me as I pushed the stretcher to where the cab was.
“Can’t this stretcher go any faster? And why are we going to the emergency room? Shouldn’t we be going to straight to the operating room?” I was asking the nurses non-stop as we were pushing the stretcher to where ever it is we were going.
“Kazu… calm down.” Jun who was trying to catch up with my pace said.
“Jun, I can’t calm down. What if something happens to either Riya or the baby?”
“Nothing’s gonna happen Kazu…” he assured me.
“Anou… I need a few information regarding the patient.” One of the nurses said.
“ I’ll answer…”
“Patient’s name…”
“Riya… chotto… do you need her full name?” I asked
“Hai.”
“Anou… Rianne Marie… Jun… what’s her last name again?” I said turning to Jun
“Ohno?...” he replied in a whisper.
“No way! The hell I’ll let Riya use his family name.”
“But Kazu… THAT is her last name… legally…”
“NO! That moron isn’t even here.”
“Anou… when you have decided what the patient’s last name is… I’ll be at the nurse’s station… but for now… you can stay here.” the nurse said sounding irritated.
“Kazu… there’s nothing you can do… legally Riya is Satoshi’s wife. She has to use his last name and so does the baby.” Jun explained.
I kept silent. I hate to admit it but Jun was right. No matter which angle we look at it, Riya is legally married to Satoshi.
I silently walked towards the nurse’s station and told the nurse I was ready to give her the information she needed.
It was nearly after 4 hours when the doctor emerged. Jun and I quickly stood up and rushed to him.
“How is she? Is she alright? Is the baby fine?” I asked the doctor non-stop.
“ Which one of you is the father?” the doctor ignored my questions and asked.
“He’s not here… and I don’t think he’ll ever be here… back to my questions, how’s Riya and the baby?” I replied sarcastically.
“Well, they’re both fine. We had to do an emergency C-section since the baby was in distress. But everything ‘s fine right now. Both mother and child are fine. You may see them in their room in a while. Oh and by the way. It’s a boy.” The doctor said before going back inside.
Jun and I heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing what the doctor said.
“Kazu…” Jun began as we were walking towards Riya’s room.
“Hmmm?”
“Don’t you think it’s but right that we let Satoshi know?”
“What for?”
“Well, technically he’s the father and he has to know.”
“ Jun… you heard what he said right? He does not want anything to do with the baby. So what difference is it gonna make if we tell him?”
“ Kazu… I think Riya would want him to know.”
‘Well goodluck with how you’re going to do it. But don’t expect me to help. I’d rather not have him know.”
It took the 3 other guys 3 days to finally drag Satoshi to the hospital and see his son.
I was just coming from the hospital cafeteria when I decided to pass by the nursery to see the baby. As I was nearing the nursery I heard familiar voices arguing.
“ At least look at him Satoshi.” Jun pleaded. It was unusual to hear Jun plead.
“You told me we were going to the photoshoot.”
“Riida… he looks just like you.” Aiba commented cheerfully as he pressed his face in the glass.
“Satoshi-kun… there’s no doubt he’s your son… you’re like two peas in a pod.” Sho added as he stood beside Aiba.
“Satoshi.. please… you’re not just hurting Riya by acting this way… You’re hurting your son too…” Jun said
“He’s a baby Jun… he wouldn’t know…”
“You’re wrong, he knows and he feels… see look at him he opened his eyes. He knows his dad is here.”
“This is stupidity! You dragged me from my fishing trip to tell me we were having a photo shoot just so you could bring me here? What a waste of time!” Satoshi replied as he tried to let go of Jun’s grip.
At that instant I could not contain the anger that was bottling up inside me. I clenched my fist and ran towards Satoshi. Before the 3 other guys could react, Satoshi was already on the floor.
“Kazu!” The three chorused.
“What’s your problem?” Satoshi asked as Aiba helped him up while Sho restrained me.
“You! You are my problem and everybody’s else’s problem. I don’t know what has gotten into you. Riya needs you right now and all you could think is your f***ing fishing trip!”
“Why else would she need me? You’re there for her right?” he asked sarcastically.
“Why you….” I said as I tried to get away from Sho’s grip.
“That’s it. I’ve had enough. Satoshi-kun go… If that’s what you really want. We won’t stop you. Masaki… bring Nino somewhere where he can calm down. Jun, let’s try to think this whole thing over, maybe there’s something we can do about it.”
By the time Riya was about to be discharged from the hospital, it was decided that she was going to stay with me and my family.
We were getting ready to go when the nurse came in.
“ Anou… sumimasen, we forgot to let you fill out this form. You need to give the baby a name.” She said as she handed Riya the form.
“So Riya have you decided what to name your baby? I hope you don’t name him after his moronic father.” I said.
“Kazu…”
“Ok… I’m sorry…”
“Well, there’s this guy that I’ve dreamed of once… He never had a face in my dream. But in my dream I was hugging him really tight as if never wanting to let him go. I just kept on saying his name while hugging him. When I woke up I said to my self that I’ll give that name to my son someday. “ she replied.
“What is it?” Aiba asked
“ Shinichi.”
“That’s a good name.” Sho commented from behind Aiba.
“So… are you ready to go home?” I asked.
“Home?”
“MY HOME.” I emphasized.
Riya fell silent.
“Riya… We all think this is for the best. We can’t imagine you staying at that apartment all by yourself.” Jun said

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 26
Nino’s POV
My whole body was shaking in anger as I walked towards the direction of Ohno’s house. I did not even notice that it was actually 4 blocks away from the apartment. At that very moment my entire being was immersed in deep anger.
My anger was so intense that I did not realize I was taking it out on the doorbell.
“Chotto matte.” I heard a woman’s voice call from inside.
The door creaked a little as it opened.
“Ah Kazunari, what brings you here?” Ohno’s mom asked.
“Konbanwa auntie. Sorry for coming unannounced. Is Satoshi in?” I replied.
“Hai. He’s just starting to eat his dinner. Come in.” She invited.
“It’s ok auntie. Is it ok if I borrow Satoshi for a while?” I said trying to contain my anger.
“ Ok… but weren’t you together the entire day already?” She asked again looking puzzled.
“Ah hai. Demo I forgot to tell him something.”I lied.
“ Ok. I just don’t understand the two of you. You seem not to get enough of each other lately. Are you sure you don’t want to come in?” she asked again.
“ I’m fine auntie. I’ll just wait for him here outside.” I lied again.
The reason why I did not want to come in was I wasn’t sure how his parents would take it if I just came in and hit their son in front of them. Plus I was sure they know nothing about Riya.
The door creaked once more and the anger that was I was feeling began to heighten as I saw Satoshi’s face.
Everything happened so fast. The next thing I knew he was down on the pavement wondering what in world just happened. I never knew I had all that strength inside me.
“Kazu… what was that for?” He asked looking confused as he stood up, holding the side of his face where I had hit him.
You had to give it to Satoshi. If I had did that to the three other guys, they would have retaliated faster than lighting. But, Satoshi just stood up calmly.
I did not answer his question. I grabbed his arm and literally dragged him towards the direction of the apartment.
“Kazu… chotte matte… what’s going on?
I did not answer. I just continued to drag him not mindful of the people who were giving us strange looks as we passed by them.
“You were asking what’s going on? That is what’s going on!” I screamed as I pushed him onto the sofa when we reached the apartment.
Satoshi looked at the direction where I was pointing.
Riya was sitting on the other end of the sofa looking scared while trying to protect the visible bump on her stomach.
“Kazu… please… don’t…” Riya began to plead.
“Don’t what Riya? Don’t hit him? Gomenasai but I already did.” I replied as I continued to glare at Satoshi.
“Kazu… let him explain.” Jun said, which was so unusual of him. I had expected him to be the first one to react violently. But I was seeing a different side of him. He was calm. Maybe because he did not want to add to Riya’s stress.
“What’s he got to explain Jun? It’s clear isn’t it? This idiot here got Riya pregnant and left her alone to tend for herself. He never even had the courage to tell us what was going on. And he calls us his friends. All the while I though he had matured when he stood against us and married Riya. We kept his secret. We supported him. And yet this is the stupidity he repays us with? Leaving his pregnant wife all alone while he continues to live the life of a spoiled selfish brat at his parent’s house.”
“It’s none of your business.” Satoshi replied softly.
“Nani?” I asked as I approached him.
“I said, It’s none of your business.” Satoshi said as he stood up and pushed me.
“What I do with my life is none of you business. If I want to leave her alone, then that is my decision, not yours. If I want to stay at my parents then that’s what I’ll do. What I decide regarding my life has got nothing to do with neither one of you.” Satoshi continued, his face now masked with intense annoyance.
“BAKAYARO!” I shouted as I hit him again.
“KAZU…”
“SATOSHI…”
Both Jun and Riya’s voices echoed.
Jun was just in time to hold me back as I was about to attack Ohno who was on the floor once again with Riya trying to help him up.
“That’s enough! It’s not gonna help solve the problem.” Jun said as he strengthened his grip.
“ Let me go Jun. I’m going to kill that idiot!” I was able to break away from Jun’s hold and was going to attack Ohno again when Riya’s voice echoed in the living room.
“Kazunari, please stop.” She was standing in front of Ohno, as if shielding him from me, arms spread wide with her pregnant tummy in full view.
“Riya, move away.” I demanded.
“No! You’re not going to hurt him again.” She stubbornly replied.
“Riya, do you realize that he is the reason why you are in this mess. And he is also the same idiot who left you all alone. Now move aside and let me put some sense into that hollow head of his.”
“And he is also the father of my child! I’m not going to let you hurt him. Please Kazu… it’s going to hurt me more seeing you guys fighting over something as petty as this.”
“You call this petty? Riya, this is serious. What man in his right state of mind would leave his pregnant wife all alone? Ok … there must be a reason… You… you better give one damn good reason or I swear I’m really going to kill you.”
“Satoshi… I’ve been trying to understand the situation and not be as judgmental as Nino, but at one point Nino is right. There must be a reason why you did this. Why did you do this? Why leave her alone? Did she do something that made you decide to leave her in this state?” Jun calmly asked.
“I don’t want it…” Satoshi replied softly.
“Nani?” Both Jun & I chorused.
“I don’t want it.” he repeated.
“If you don’t want this life, then why the hell did you ask Riya to marry you? You asked her to change her life just for you and when you realized that you don’t want it anymore you’d just go ahead and leave? What kind of logic is that?” I stood up asking, on the verge of attacking him again.
“Kazu…” Jun said as he stopped me.
“ Jun… that idiot has a twisted mind. Are we just going to stand here and allow him to destroy not just one life but two?” I was already outraged.
“I did not say I don’t a married life…” Satoshi softly began.
“Nani?”
“ It’s not the married life that I don’t want… it’s …it’s…”
“What is it that you don’t want then?” Jun asked.
“I don’t want the baby.”
RIYA’S POV
Each word that came out of his mouth seemed like daggers slowly piercing my heart. I though I was already immune to it but I guess I still wasn’t.
I slowly eased down onto the sofa as I animatedly watched Kazu lunge at Satoshi. Had Jun not been quick enough to grab Kazu, God only knows what he would have done to Satoshi.
“I’m really gonna kill you!!!!!” Kazu shouted while being held back by Jun.
“ Kazu… stop it. It’s not helping.”
“Then what would help Jun? Us letting him get away with his stupidity? He’s not just ruining one life here. Neither Riya nor the baby is at fault. Why do they have to suffer this person’s idiosyncrasy? I’ve seen enough Jun, If this idiot here does not want Riya or the baby, then I won’t force him, but I’m not allowing him to hurt them any longer. They’ve suffered enough.”
“What are you saying?” Jun asked.
“ I’m taking them home with me.” Nino calmly replied.
“ WHAT?” Jun and I chorused as Satoshi looked at Nino with the strangest expression.
“ I’m bringing them home.” Nino repeated.
“ Nande?” Jun asked.
“What do you mean why?” Nino returned the question.
“Why are you doing this?” Jun asked again
“I… I just don’t want to see history repeating it’s self. I’ve seen my share of this kind of drama, and I tell you it usually does not end happily. That’s why I’m bringing them home. Neither Riya nor the baby deserves this kind of treatment. Seeing that they would not get any care from this idiot here, it would be best if I bring them home. I’m sure my mom and sister wouldn’t mind.”
“Nino…”
“Riya, go and pack some clothes. I’ll come back tomorrow to get the rest of your stuff.”
“I’m not leaving.” I replied softly not moving from where I was.
“What?” Nino asked in confusion.
“I’m staying.” I replied firmly
“Riya, be reasonable. You are all alone here. What if something happens to you or the baby? Who’s gonna help you?”
“I’m going to be fine. I don’t want to burden you.”
“You’re not going to be a burden. I won’t be able to relax thinking that you are alone here and that something bad might happen to you.”
“Kazu… really, I’m going to be fine.” I assured him.
“ Riya, don’t tell me you’re still hoping that this moron’s going come back one day and embrace you and your baby with open arms? Didn’t you hear him? He does not want the baby. There’s no use in waiting.”
“Didn’t you know? Patience is a virtue.” I replied smiling.
“Patience is. Stupidity isn’t.” he shot back sarcastically.
“Kazu… I know you’re concerned and I appreciate it, but as I’ve said, I don’t want to be a burden. I’m fine. Plus your house is far from my work.” I said.
“But…”
“No buts Kazu… please…”
“Ok. But promise me, I’ll be the first person you’ll call if anything happens and I mean anything.” Nino said in resignation.
“ I promise.” I replied softly.
“I see everything is in order and I believe you won’t be needing me. I’m leaving then.” Satoshi said out of the blue his face now masked with anger.
“Sorry. we forgot you were still there, it’s ok you can go now. Nobody needs you.” Nino mocked him.
Satoshi glared at him before turning to face me to say,
“ I’m leaving.” With that, he turned around and headed towards the door.
“Satoshi… wait…” I called.
“ What do you want?”
“ Can we talk?”
“What’s there to talk about?”
“ A lot. You, me , the baby…” I began
“If this concerns that thing, there’s nothing to talk about. I made my decision, you made yours. You want the baby then you can have it. I don’t want anything to do with that.” He replied angrily.
“ Satoshi… please… he’s your baby…” I begged as I held onto his hand.
“I told you before and I’m telling you again. I don’t want it. Now let me go.” He said with finality as the door behind him slammed.
If those words could kill I would have died that instant but it wasn’t the words that hurt, there was pain, but it wasn’t in my heart. It was in my tummy. I looked down and saw blood coursing down my legs. I wrapped both arms around my stomach and called out with the last strength I had…
“Kazu…. Itai….”

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 25
Almost 6 months had past since that incident. Things seemed to be back to normal. The guys and I had a series of concerts all over Japan and even in the neighboring countries, not to mention the drama I was doing and the TV shows. I was driving myself to the edge just so I could forget about that incident.
Today was an unusually light day for us. We ended really early. And as always since the studio was near the house I was to be dropped off first.
“ Anou… driver-san, drop me off the next block will you?” I said.
“Ne… riida, this isn’t the way to your house.” Aiba commented.
“ I’m going to my parents.” I replied.
“You’ve been going to your parents lately. Is everything ok?” Sho asked from behind.
“Hai…” I lied.
I thought everything was fine but I did not realize that there were two pairs of eyes suspiciously watching me as I stepped out of the van.
JUN’s POV
“Nino…” I whispered to the person beside me whom I thought was sleeping.
“Nande?” he quickly replied.
“It seems to be happening again.”
“What?”
“Riida.” I replied
“You noticed it too huh?” He asked me.
“Yeah. It seemed to be happening quite often.”
“I asked him yesterday if it was ok to spend the night in their house since I wanted Riya to help me go through with some of lines which is in English. He said no, but what was strange was when I said I might just give Riya a call he went beserk and told me not to call Riya. I wanted to hit him but I let it go thinking he was just stressed with work. But now I am convinced that something is really wrong.”
“What do you say we try to investigate?” I suggested.
“That was what I was about to suggest. Let’s get off on the next block.” He replied.
“Anou… driver –san. Please pullover. We’re getting off.”
“Nande?” Sho asked
“We have some business to attend to. We’ll tell you when we have figured it out.” Nino said before any of the two could react as he slammed the door of the van shut.
We treaded the familiar path quietly. Neither one of us spoke. It took us almost fifteen minutes to get to our destination.
As we walk up to the door, a faint light from the window illuminated the street. Nino, as if asking for permission, looked at me before pushing the doorbell.
“ Chotto…” The voice from inside the house instantly replied as if it had been expecting. The footsteps became louder as the person from inside got nearer. The door opened slowly and the familiar set of eyes peeped through.
“Riya! Hisashiburi desu ne!” Nino and I chorused.
“ Wha… Wha… What are you dong here?”
“It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen each other and we thought of surprising you. Aren’t you going to let us in? It’s rude to make your visitors wait outside you know.” I said trying to make it sound funny.
“ Anou… Satoshi is not here right now…”
“ We know. We just dropped him off at his parents house. That’s why we decided to come over. So are you just going to peep through the door or are you going to let us in?” Nino said trying not to sound sarcastic.
“I… uhmmm… well…” she stuttered.
We both just stared at her trying to make her realize that we are not going anywhere not until she lets us in.
Realizing that we are serious, Riya moved back and opened the door to let us in.
We silently got in. Closed the door behind us and followed Riya to the living room. “Gomen ne Riya-chan if we had not called before going here. We wanted to surprise you, Ah…Hahaha… we forgot to bring you a gift. We promise we’ll bring your favorite mochi next time.” I broke the silence.
“Daijoubou.” She replied as she stared outside the window, her back facing us.
There was another awkward silence. I turned to Nino who was intently staring at Riya and mouthed, “Your turn” silently.
“Anou… Riya-chan… eto… eto… Are you ok?”
“ Why do you ask?” Riya returned the question, still facing the window.
I glared at Nino as if telling him that that’s not what I meant.
“ Anou… what I mean is are you ok right now. Tonight. Ohno-kun isn’t here. Are you ok with that?” Nino rebounded.
“ Ah… Hai… I mean he needs to go home to his parents once in while so they would not suspect anything ne? He can’t always say that he’s staying at your house every night can he?” Riya reasoned.
“Ahh narudo… demo… it’s been happening quite often. It’s not that we are trying to meddle with your lives but…”
“Daijoubou Kazu… Both of you need not worry about it.” She cut Nino in mid sentence.
“Riya… We’ve… Well Nino and I have noticed that Ohno seems to be going to his parents house almost everyday for the past few months. We thought of the same reason in the beginning but it’s been happening for almost 6 months now and…”
“Jun… yamete…” Riya pleaded silently.
Both of us stared at Riya who was still staring at the window.
“Demo Riya-chan…” Nino began.
“Like you’ve said. This is our lives. Whatever’s happening is between me and Satoshi. Just as long it does not affect you guys or the Jimusho, then I think there’s nothing to worry about.” She said.
“ Riya please hear us out. We’re just…” Nino stopped halfway through his sentence, his expression changed as he faced Riya. The concern that was rarely seen in Nino’s face was immediately transformed into anger.
“ Kazu… NO!” Riya panicked as she held on to Nino’s arm.
“Jun, stay with her. Don’t leave her.” He commanded as he removed his arm from Riya’s grip.
“Nande?” I asked as I watch him walk hurriedly out of the door.
“Just don’t leave her.” He called out one last time before hearing the main door close with a bang. I walked towards Riya and as she faced me, I understood.

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 24
Riya’s POV
That day was the most exhausting day of my entre life. Although I still went on with my daily routine, there were moments when I would be staring blankly into space. I still could not find the answers to the questions that had been flooding my brain for the past hours. The only relieve I had was the thought that Satoshi would come home late and I had to leave early tomorrow morning. Or so I thought.
I was getting ready for bed when I heard the front door open.
My heart began to beat fast. I was starting to sweat profusely as I got out of the room to greet him.
“Tadaima.” He said as he laid down his backpack onto the sofa.
“Okaeri.” I replied softly.
“I though we were going to finish late but we pulled through.” He said as we headed to the dining room.
“ Ah.” Was all I said as I prepared his dinner.
I sat across him as he began to eat while he began to talk animatedly about his day.
“Nani?” he asked when he noticed that my mind seemed to be far away.
“Huh?”
“Is something wrong?”
“Why?”
“I was asking you how your day was.” He said.
“Oh. It went well. We had our presentation.” I replied.
“That’s great. I’m sure you did well.”
I smiled in reply.
“By the way, Aiba said he saw you today.” He said as he reached for the bowl of rice.
My heart seemed to have stopped beating and blood seemed to have drained from my face when I heard what he said.
“Riya?”
“Ha..hai…”
“I said Aiba said he saw you today. We though he was just making it up for being late. But he kept on insisting that he saw you at a clinic.”
This is it. There’s nowhere to run. I need to tell him the truth.
“Anou…” I began.
“It was funny coz the guys were kidding me that the reason why you were at the clinic was because you’re pregnant. Of course I told them it can’t be true.” He added.
“Satoshi…”
“Hmm?...”
“What if it’s true?” I finally mustered enough courage to ask him.
“What’s true?” he asked me back.
“What if what they’re saying is true?” I asked again.
“What do you mean?”
Ok here goes nothing…
“What if I’m pregnant?” I asked him without looking at his face. I did not what to see his reaction.
“How can it be true? We’ve been careful. You’ve been taking precautions haven’t you?”
“Anou…”
“We can’t afford that kind of problem right now. Everything’s been going well with… you know us and having a baby would just ruin it.”
“You think having a baby would be a problem?” I asked him.
“Of course don’t you? Anyway, it’s not gong to happen anytime soon right?” he asked me.
I did not answer him. I was torn between being heartbroken and afraid with what I heard.
“Riya? It’s not going to happen right?” he asked again.
“Anou… Satoshi…” I began as I tried to look at him in the eye.
“Nani?”
“Gomen…”
“What are you saying sorry for?” he asked
“I’m sorry.”
“ For what? Riya? What are you saying sorry for?”
“I’m… pregnant.” I said softly.
Satoshi’s POV
My mind tried to process what I just heard, but it seems the words that came out of her mouth were cryptic.
“Nani?” I asked again. Wanting to be sure whether I heard he correctly.
“I’m… pregnant.” She replied softly while continuing to stare at the floor.
There was no mistaking it. Those were the words I have never wanted to hear her say.
“Nande?” I finally broke the silence between us.
“Huh?”
“Why? Why did this happen? How did this happen? I thought you were careful.” I said as the tension was building up inside.
“What do you mean why and how?” she returned the question.
“Why did you allow this to happen?” I asked again. I could feel my voice becoming louder with every question.
“Why? It’s not as if I did this alone.” She reasoned.
“But you could have avoided it.” I shot back.
“What do you want me to do then? Get rid of it?” She asked, her face becoming even redder.
“If you think that’s the only way then go ahead.”
“WHAT? You’re asking me to get rid of the baby? What are you trying to turn me into? A murderer?” She shrieked. Tears were now threatening to fall.
“If you want to keep it then go ahead. But I don’t want anything to do with that… that… thing.”
“Satoshi… this is your baby we’re talking about.” She said softly as tears were now coursing down her cheeks.
“I don’t want it.” I replied nonchalantly.
“You are impossible!” She screamed as she headed towards room and closed the door with a loud bang.
I knew that I hurt her badly and knowing that fact was what was making me guilty.
My heart was telling me run after her and comfort her but my stubborn mind was telling me let her be. After all, it was her fault.
I took my bag and headed out of the door. I needed time to think things over. I walked until I reached a bar and began to drown myself in alcohol. It was almost past 2AM when I headed back home. I wanted to think that everything that happened was all a bad joke. The house was silent. The only sound that could be heard was my own footsteps.
The bedroom wasn’t totally dark. There was light coming from the bedside table and I could see her profile curled up by the edge of the bed. I walked towards her and sat on the floor facing her. The tears have dried up but I could still see the hurt in her face. I brushed the few strands of hair away from her face.
“Riya… gomen ne…. I don’t know how this is going to work out between us. I love you but I just can’t stand the fact that there’s something that’s going to come between us right now. I know it’s selfish of me to say this especially when that thing that’s coming between us is also a part of me but… I just want you for myself. We haven’t been together for long and having a baby would just be a hindrance. I don’t want my love for you to turn into hate and this is the only way I know that could make me stop that from happening. Aishiteru demo… gomen ne…” the last words were more of a whisper as I kissed her and headed out of the door.
FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 23
Riya’s POV
My married life was far from what I had imagined it to be. Satoshi and I would only get to see each other during breakfast and during the times when he did not have to work during weekends, which was next to never. But nevertheless that did not stop me from continuing to watch him sleep. That usually made my day complete.
There were drastic changes since the day the rest of the members found out about us. There were rules I had to live by. Rules that sounded stupid if you ask me, but I could not really do anything about it.
Everyday, Satoshi would enumerate those rules as if there were the rosary’s litany.
No talking to strangers --- hello, no need to reiterate that. My mom taught me that when I was a kid.
Always wear a cap and sunglasses --- this rule I don’t understand. I’m not an idol, so I don’t think I need to hide my face.
Don’t make any detours --- I don’t get this either. If I can’t take any detours, can I make a shortcut then?
Don’t talk to any reporters --- again let me repeat. I AM NOT AN IDOL!!!
Never go to crowded places ---- WHY? WHY? WHY? By the way, is the grocery considered a crowded place?
Don’t ride the train ---- why shouldn’t I? Riding a taxi’s really expensive.
Don’t go out of the house when not necessary --- Why do I get the feeling that I am more of prisoner than a wife?
Don’t answer the phone when it rings --- Why don’t we just have the phone line cut off?
Don’t talk to the neighbors --- what makes you think I can even talk to the neighbors (refer to rule #7).
Don’t call Satoshi’s cellphone --- even on emergencies? Well, can I call Nino then? I guess he did not give me his number for nothing.
And the list would go on. Even though the rest of the rules were just different versions of the first 10, Satoshi would meticulously repeat them before he leaves.
For almost 4 months, my life became so rigid that I ended up making a schedule of my daily routine.
4:50 ---- wake up and watch Satoshi sleep for 5 minutes
4:55 – 5:20 --- prepare breakfast
5:20 – 5:40 --- take a quick bath (wake Satoshi up before going to the bathroom)
5:45 – 6:00 --- have breakfast (while listening to the LITANY)
6:15 ---- go to work
7:00 – 4:00 --- WORK
4:20 --- go home
4:30 --- pass by the grocery (remember don’t talk to strangers)
5:45 --- have a quick bath
6:10 ---- start preparing dinner
7:00 --- watch TV (my favorite part of the day!)
8:00 --- eat dinner… ALONE
8:45 --- wash dishes, clean the kitchen, leave Satoshi’s food on the table, prepare his clothes
9:20 --- read a few pages from a book (or until I fall asleep)
Then the cycle would then repeat from the beginning. It was so routine that I would have gladly welcomed something unusual. Well I should have been more careful with what I had wished for.
It was our company’s busiest week since it was the time for the management’s yearly approval of new projects and the department that I belonged to was not spared. For almost 2 weeks I would go on overtime just to meet the deadline for the presentation. I was not even sure if I had ever been asleep for the past week. Most of my co-workers would comment on how much weight I’ve lost and how I looked like a zombie. My boss even offered to give me a week off but I declined. If they only knew that I would rather stay in the office, where I get to talk to someone, than at home.
We were just getting ready for the presentation when I suddenly felt lightheaded but I just ignored it and went on with the preparations. I was halfway through the presentation when it began to feel more intense. It was as if my head was filled with air. Everybody in the boardroom began looking all fuzzy and distorted. I held on to the side of the podium to keep myself from fainting.
“Riya-chan? Daijobou desu ka?” One of my co-workers asked as she came near me.
“Hai.” I lied as I continued with my presentation.
However I haven’t even finished the sentence when my body betrayed me and succumbed to the unwanted feeling that I have been ignoring for the past hour.
The next thing I remember was waking up at our company clinic 30 minutes later.
“Oh good you’re awake. How are you feeling?” The resident physician asked upon seeing that I was awake.
“Fine I guess, just a little dizzy.” I replied as I began to sit up.
“ Well your vitals seem normal, and I’ve taken a blood sample and sent it to the lab. The results should be delivered in a few minutes. Other than the fact that you seem really fatigued, there seems to be nothing wrong except…”
“Except what doctor?” I asked.
“Well I just need to confirm something. Here, the instructions inside, the bathroom’s over there. I’m sure you’d figure out how to do this.” She said as she handed me a box.
I was not stupid not to recognize the box. I had not spent four years in Nursing school for nothing. I looked at the doctor anxiously as I took the box from her. She gave me a weak smile and nodded towards the bathroom.
I sluggishly got out of the bed and headed towards the bathroom. The faint feeling that I had awhile ago seem to be coming back as I took the kit out of the box.
My hands began to tremble as I handed the test back to the doctor.
“Do you know what this means or do you want me to interpret it for you?” She asked.
“It’s ok. I know what it means.” I replied softly.
“Well, I guess I should say congratulations. By the way do you have an OB-GYN? I think you should start seeing one. Here, she’s the company’s retainer OB-GYN. You can visit her anytime, no need to make an appointment.” She said as she handed me a calling card.
I absentmindedly took the card from her, thanked her and headed out of the door.
A lot of hows, whens, whys and whatifs were running through my head as I walked back to my cubicle. How stupid can I be that I did realize what was going on with my own body? How could I not know? What’s going to happen now? What am I going to do? How am I going to tell Satoshi? How is he going to react?
I was still in a state of shock when my boss approached me.
“Riya? Diajobou?” he asked
“Ha… hai…” I replied.
“ I think it’s better if you take the day off. I know you’ve been through a lot of pressure for the past week. The rest of the guys can take it from here.” He said sympathetically.
I nodded as I began to clear my desk. I took my bag and headed out.
I was standing outside the company building for almost 10 minutes still contemplating on what to do when my phone began to ring.
Satoshi.
“Hai…” I said in a soft voice as I answered the phone.
“Riya? Doko desu ka?” he asked.
“I’m still in the office.” I lied.
“ Oh… well I’m just checking if you had your lunch already. By the way, I’ll be late tonight. We ‘re filming a special for the show.”
“Ok. Take care.”
“You too. Don’t work too hard.” He said before the line went dead.
I stared at my phone for a few more minutes before hailing a cab.
I took the calling card out of my bag and looked at the address written on it. The clinic was just a few minutes away from the office that I decided to go and see the doctor.
My check up lasted for 30 minutes. I was informed that I was more or less 2 months on the way. The doctor then began enumerating the “Dos” and “Don’ts” but I was not attentively listening. All I ever did was nod. She began to write down a prescription of different vitamins that I must take.
I was continuously in a state of shock when I got out of the clinic.
I was too engrossed with formulating the correct “surprise” sentence for Satoshi when I heard my name being called.
“R-I-Y-A!!!!!”
I began looking for the familiar voice that was echoing. My mouth hang open when I saw who owned the voice.
Aiba.
“Riya. What are you doing here?” he asked as he approached me.
“Anou… I was…” I stuttered.
This is bad. I thought. He mustn’t know.
“You came from the clinic?” he asked again.
“ No… I…” I could not find an appropriate alibi no matter how hard I tried.
“OHHHHH!!!!” he exclaimed. His eyes were twinkling with excitement.
“What?” I asked.
“Nothing.” He replied with a silly grin painted on his face.
“What are you doing here anyway? Don’t you have work?” I asked again.
“ I’m on my way to work. I just dropped my mom off. She’s having her CHECK – UP.” He replied, putting emphasis on the word check up.
“I see. Off you go then. You’ll be late.” I said as I pushed him away.
Satoshi’s POV.
Filming should have started a few minutes ago but we were still in the dressing room waiting for the ultimate member to arrive. It was sort of unusual of him to be late. Most of the time it was Jun who would make us wait. I wonder what his alibi would be. I was starting to think of something funny that he would say when door opened with a bang.
“ Minna… gomen ne…” he said in between breaths.
“Baka! We should have started 30 minutes ago.” Jun irritatingly said as he stood up from the sofa.
“ Gomen… gomen… I had to drop off my mom.” Aiba replied as he began to change.
“A likely excuse.” Nino commented.
“It’s true. I had to drop off my mom at the clinic. I’m not lying. Ask Riya-chan.” He said as he struggled with his pants.
“Riya?” I surprisingly asked upon hearing Riya’s name.
“Yes. I saw her at the clinic.”
“What clinic?” Nino asked curiously.
“The clinic where I dropped my mom off.” He replied.
“Yes, you’ve been repeating that you dropped your mom off at the clinic. But what clinic?” Nino asked again.
“Oh that… you know the clinic for women… the one where the go to when they’re pregnant or when they’re nearing old age and entering menopause.” He replied bluntly.
“Come to think of it, if Riya did come from that clinic and she isn’t entering menopause, then she must be…” Aiba said stopping at the last word and looking at me suspiciously.
“What?” I asked.
“Riida… it’s ok to tell us… you know… if you…” he continued.
“If I what?” I asked him sounding confused.
“Been doing it. It’s normal. You’re married.”
“Masaki! You are the most perverted person I have ever met in my entire life!” I shouted as I threw the towel at him.
“ No, I’m not! Sho-kun is!” he replied.
“Oi! Why am I being dragged into this conversation?” Sho reacted as he peeped behind the newspaper he was reading.
“Ohno-kun…” A small voice from behind me called.
I turned around and saw Nino.
“Nani?” I asked him.
“What if it’s true?” He asked.
“What do you mean?”
“What if she really is pregnant?” He asked back.
“What are you saying? Are you out of your mind? It’s not going to happen.” I said confidently.
“There is a big possibility.” Jun commented.
“There is no possibility! We’re careful. Riya is careful.” I shot back.
“Who are you trying to convince? Us or yourself?” Sho asked as he stood up and walked towards me.
“That’s not going to happen.” I said
“Why? Are you impotent?” Nino asked sarcastically.
“Of course not! I just know it’s not going to happen.”
“What if it happens? What are you going to do?” Jun asked.
I fell silent.
“Satoshi-kun, there is nothing wrong if Riya is pregnant. We’re not stupid to ask you to do something bad.” Sho said.
“Sho’s right. Don’t people usually say that having kids is a blessing?” Jun added.
“I don’t want to…” I said softly.
“Nani?” Nino asked.
“I don’t want to. I don’t want to have kids.” I said looking away from them.
“Nande?” Sho asked.
I could not get myself to answer Sho’s question. I know it’s a selfish reason, but I really don’t want her to get pregnant.
“Ohno-kun… nande?” Jun repeated the question.
“I don’t want to have kids. Is that too hard to understand?” I replied sounding annoyed.
“Ok. Let’s just drop the topic. We have the whole night to film and it’s not good to be on each other’s nerves. Let’s go.” Sho said finally breaking the tension.
We were on the way out when we noticed Aiba sitting on the sofa, deep in thought.
“Aiba-san, what’s wrong?” Sho asked.
“How?” he asked.
“What do you mean how?” Jun asked.
“How did Riida get Riya pregnant when we have been really busy with the concert, shows and recordings? Unless Riida would sneak out. So, how? How did he get her pregnant?” he asked.
“AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” our voices echoed in the room.

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 22
Riya’s POV
I never thought that I would survive the night. I was too scared to move, hell, I was too scared to even breathe. Never in my entire life have a felt that scared. I wanted to vanish right there and then. I knew that Jun has that DoS side of his but I did not expect to be on the receiving end.
I could not bring myself to sleep as I recounted the events.
It was decided that the guys would help keep our secret. One of the conditions was, I could never use Satoshi’s name. There were a lot more conditions but I did not care. Anything else is better than divorce.
I eased a little towards the side of the bed when an arm around my waist held me back.
“Riya? Are you still awake?” he asked as he snuggled a little closer.
“Nande?”
“ Gomen ne…”
“ For what?” I asked.
“ For everything. For putting you through this kind of situation. For not being able to stand up for you against Jun. For not…”
“Daijobou. Besides, Jun was really scary. I would have not stood up against him myself.” I replied smiling.
“ No, it’s not ok. I promised you I would make this work. That everything will be alright and at the first sight of uncertainty I let you down.” He said as he hugged me even tighter.
I turned around to face him and looked him in the eye.
“ Iie, daijobou. You never had to promise me anything right from the start.”
“Nande? You still think promises are meant to be broken?”
“Yes. Promises will always be broken. Dakara, there’s no need for you to make anymore promises.”
“ When will you accept the fact that not all promises are broken?” he asked
“I don’t think that day will ever come.” I replied.
He just smiled in resignation as he began to trace my face with his fingers.
“Nani?” I asked him sleepily.
He shook his head as he continued what he was doing. Sleep was already taking over when I heard him humming a familiar song. I smiled as I opened my eyes.
“Why did you stop?” I asked when he stopped humming.
“Coz you going to sleep. I don’t to keep you awake.” He replied.
“Don’t stop. I like that song. That’s my favorite.” I said as I closed my eyes.
He began to sing.
Satoshi’s POV
That was the fist time she asked me to sing for her. I snuggled a little closer as I began to sing.
“Stay with me.” I repeated the last line.
“Riya?...”
“Hmmm…” She replied sleepily.
“I really am sorry.”
“Hmmm…”
“I know you think it’s not necessary but seriously I really am sorry…” I assured her while continuing to trace her face with my fingers.
“Hmmm…”
“And Riya…?”
“Hmmm…” “Aishiteru…” I whispered in her ear before giving in to sleep myself.
It wasn’t the sunlight that woke me up. It was the feeling that someone was staring at me. I slowly opened my eyes.
“Ohayo.” She said softly.
“Ohayo. What are you doing? What time is it?” I replied while glancing at the clock on the bedside table.
“It’s six and I’m watching you sleep. You look like a baby.” She said while she continued to stare.
“Do you do this often?” I asked.
“Do what? Watch you sleep?” She returned the question.
I nodded.
“I do. Every single day since the time we started living together. I love watching you sleep.” She said without taking her eyes off mine.
“Why?” I asked again.
“What do you mean why?”
“Why are you doing it? Why do you want to watch me sleep?”
“Because I’m making a memory. Someday when I won’t get to watch you sleep anymore, I will always remember how you would always touch you nose when you sleep and how you slept so soundly like a baby.” She replied.
“What do you mean when you won’t get to watch me sleep anymore?” I asked her sounding confused.
She did not reply. She just continued to watch me.
“Riya, what did you mean by that?” I asked her again.
“It’s nothing. Forget what I said. I need to prepare your breakfast. What time did you say you were leaving for work?” She asked as she got out of bed and headed towards the kitchen.
I never thought that I would survive the night. I was too scared to move, hell, I was too scared to even breathe. Never in my entire life have a felt that scared. I wanted to vanish right there and then. I knew that Jun has that DoS side of his but I did not expect to be on the receiving end.

FANFICTION - Tell me how you lost me - Chapter 21
Satoshi’s POV
I was on the way to the bathroom when I heard the loud slamming of the front door. I stopped dead on my tracks, did an about turn and ran to the living room.
Riya stood frozen in front of the door with a petrified look on her face.
“Riya what’s wrong? Who was that?” I asked her.
No words came out of her mouth as she continued to frighteningly stare at the door.
“Riya… who was….” I was not able to continue my question when the doorbell rang continuously along with the loud banging on the door and the familiar voice that I had dreaded to hear.
“SATOSHI!!!! Open the @$#!*ng door this instant. I know you are in there.”
I wheeled around, grabbed Riya by the hand and started to run towards the backdoor but stopped just after a few steps.
What was I thinking? We’re busted. Even if I try to run right now, knowing Jun, he’s not going to stop until he gets the answer he wants to hear. I think it’s about time I face the consequences.
The doorbell continued to ring as I led the still shocked Riya toward the living room and sat her on the sofa before going to the front door to let the “monster” named Jun in.
His fist was raised, ready to bang the door once more when I opened the door. His brows were more furrowed than ever. One might even think he has just one eyebrow. That was how scary he looked.
I did not need to invite him inside as he saw his way through the house onto the living room. Riya flinched at the sight of Jun and inched further to the side of the sofa.
“Well?....” he broke the silence.
“Nani?” I absentmindedly asked.
“Well? What is all this about? What is Riya doing here? Rather what are you two doing here together? Don’t tell me you’re living together? Well? Answer me!”He demanded.
“Anou… ahmmm… we’re actually…” I began, not knowing how to explain correctly.
“What?”
“We’re not just living together. We’re married.” I said without looking at him as I fidgeted with my fingers.
“WHAT???!!!” his bellow echoed in the entire house.
Riya cringed even more, this time hugging her knees.
“Chotto matte… let me explain.” I tried to reason.
“Shut up!” he said as he flipped his phone open and frantically began to punch in the numbers.
“Where are you?... Good you haven’t gotten far yet… tell the driver to turn around and go back to the street where I got off… wait... let me finish… I’ll explain later… turn right when you pass by the convenience store. Go straight, you’ll reach an apartment complex at the end of the road. Go to the last door and knock… I said I’ll explain later. Ja..”
I wasn’t quite sure who he was talking to but I would bet my life it was not Aiba, that guy has a very bad sense of direction.
Silence filled the entire house as we waited for the other guys to arrive. I wanted to sit beside Riya and assure her that everything’s going to be alright but hesitated. Jun was watching me like a hawk as if reading my every move.
The silence lasted for almost ten minutes before it was broken by the sound of the doorbell yet again.
I got up and headed towards the door to open it.
Confused looks of the three other guys greeted me as I opened the door.
“Ohno-kun what are you doing here?” Sho asked looking even more confused when he heard Jun’s voice.
“In here! We have a problem. A very HUGE problem.” He said as the 3 made their way to the living room.
“Riya? What are you doing here? What’s wrong?” Nino asked as he entered the living room and seeing Riya cringing on the side of the sofa.
“She IS the problem.” Jun began.
“Oi… chotto matte…” I interrupted.
“Didn’t I tell you to shut up?” he said before facing the other guys.
“Jun, what’s the matter? Why are you raving mad? And I don’t think Ohno-kun deserves to be shouted at.” Sho commented.
“Because he’s the one who caused us this problem.” Jun answered pointing at Riya who was still curled up on the sofa with Nino beside her.
“Jun, calm down. We don’t understand. Explain.” Sho told him.
“This baka here and Riya are married that’s what the problem is!” Jun blurted.
“NANI?!!!!” the three chorused.
“Now do you understand?” Jun asked.
“Ohno-kun what were you thinking?” Sho asked as he approached me.
“He wasn’t thinking.” Jun answered
“Ne, ne Ohno kun… if you and Riya are married… then you… hehehehe…. You know… did it?” Aiba asked smirking as he inched towards me.
“Masaki! That’s is not the issue here. We need to think of something. Obviously this has got to stop. Sho-kun… what are we going to do?” Jun cut Aiba off before facing Sho.
“Matte… I’m still thinking.” Sho replied.
“We can’t waste anymore time. If the press finds out about this… about her… then they’re going to have a frenzy… We have to do something about her…” Jun continued to rant while pointing at Riya.
“Matte Jun-kun… why are you acting as if it is Riya’s fault? It’s not entirely her fault you know. It’s that baka over there who’s to blame. Stop blaming Riya.” Nino blurted out at Jun.
“She’s partly to blame Nino. Why did she say yes in the first place? She could have said no.” Jun reasoned.
“YAMETE!!”
“Nani?” Jun asked as he approached me ready to strike.
“Ya-me-te ku-da-sai…” I said slowly with my hands clenched into a fist.
“At last… you’ve gotten into your senses. We need to stop this. This cannot go on. Maybe we could still do something about it. I think divorce is the best option for now…”
“YAMETE!” Our combined voices stopped Jun before he could finish his sentence.
I turned around to see who owned the other voice.
Nino.
He was standing in front of Riya as if shielding her from Jun. His expression was something I have not seen before. His face was red all over and his eyes showed something I could not decipher whether it was concern or hatred.
“Yamete Matsumoto.”
“Nino, don’t tell me you are taking their sides? Well I would not be surprised. Of course you’ll take Riida’s side.” Jun mockingly said.
“I am not taking anybody’s side. Yes, I admit that what they did was wrong and completely absurd. But it’s their lives. If they want to get married, then let them be. It would be selfish of us to stop them.”
“I don’t think you get the point here Nino, this is going to affect all of us.” Jun reasoned.
“I get the point Jun. But we also need to understand that we are but human. We sometimes do things without thinking. We do things basing on what we feel at that moment. And whatever these two felt at that very moment was beyond our control. If during that time they felt that it was right to get married then who are we to say that it is wrong? The least that we could do for both if them right now is understand them. I’m sure they went through a lot of hell just to keep this a secret from us.” Nino explained.
“But what about…”
“ Mou iyou. Nino’s right. As you said we don’t have enough time. We need to find a way to keep this from the press and most importantly from the Jimusho. They would not understand it. What’s important right now is these two right here.” Sho said
“Sho-kun…” Jun appealed, not wanting to accept defeat.
“You’ll understand it when you get to feel what these two are feeling right now. Nothing else is important just as long as you’re with the person whom you think will make a difference in your life.” Nino added before going back to Riya’s side to comfort her.
Realizing that he was overpowered, Jun sat beside Aiba and fell silent.
“ So… Riida and Riya will stay married? Yosh! So it’s settled… now can we go back my previous question?” Aiba asked.
“Which was?” Jun asked.
“ Riida?... Did you do it?”
“MASAKI!!!” we all shouted as throw pillows were hurled at Aiba from different directions.
